The Freedom of Information Act gives any person the right to request access to federal agency records. NASA processes requests under 5 U.S.C. § 552 and 14 C.F.R. Part 1206. Records that are properly classified, pre-decisional, or otherwise exempt may be withheld in whole or in part.

3. Description of Records Requested

Describe the records as specifically as possible. A pre-filled description for Project Anchor / GMU records is provided below.

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. § 552, I request copies of the following records held by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Goddard Space Flight Center, Gravitational Monitoring Unit (GMU):

1. All raw and reduced superconducting gravimeter time series from Anchor stations GSFC-7, JPL-2, KIR-4, SYW-1, CDD-9, MZG-3, ASC-5, and MAT-8 covering 01 March 2024 through the present, including calibration logs and any records of data withheld from the consensus solution.

2. The complete text of the internal determination dated 21 July 2026 elevating the Project Anchor precursor signature above the public-advisory confidence threshold, together with all dissenting technical memoranda.

3. All records concerning the loss of signal at station ASC-5 (Ascension Island) commencing 04 August 2026 at 14:33:00 UTC, including recovery team dispatch orders and any assessment of why the outage began at an exact seven-day multiple of the forecast anomaly time.

4. Any modeling output describing anomaly durations exceeding 7.0 seconds, including the distribution tail beyond the published 0.4 second uncertainty.

5. All correspondence between the GMU and FEMA, DHS, or the National Security Council regarding Public Advisory 2026-118 between 01 July 2026 and the present.

6. The GMU's records-retention schedule and any litigation hold, preservation order, or destruction authorization applicable to items 1 through 5.
