The Freedom of Information Act gives any person the right to request access to federal agency records. NASA processes requests under 5 U.S.C. § 552 and 14 C.F.R. Part 1206. Records that are properly classified, pre-decisional, or otherwise exempt may be withheld in whole or in part.
